How to control your Personal Computer remotely from your Android Phone

So, here is the tutorial for taking remote connection of your Personal Computer from your Android Phone from anywhere in the world obviously with a good internet connection on both end.

And the good part is that you do not have to install any heavy (big size) software anywhere and the set up is too fast that you can be up running within less than 10 minutes. But if you are good at multitasking than you can reduce that less than 10 minutes to less than 5 minutes.

There are two phase in this process. Don’t worry I will take you through the whole process.

1. Personal Computer Side

2. Android Phone Side

All this you have to configure only once and enjoy
for rest.

Let us start from the Personal Computer side configuration.

• Goto Google chrome web store and search for  “Chrome Remote Desktop” 

• Once found click on "Add to Chrome" (It is of nearly of 3MB extension)

• Once added you might see the Chrome App Launcher on the taskbar. If not go to start and type Chrome App Launcher.

• Open Chrome Remote Desktop from the Chrome App Launcher

• After launching Chrome Remote Desktop app, it will ask for Sign in once for the permissions

• After that click on share and follow the steps  (If chrome remote desktop host will be pre-installed than it will directly generatre the access code else it will ask you to install that.)

• Note that Access code, as you will require that code to access your Personal Computer remotely.

Now let's come to our second phase i.e. Android Phone side. It is quite simple here.

• Goto Google Play Store from your Android Phone

• Search for "Chrome Remote Desktop" app

• Simply install it.

• You can see the screenshots at the Google Play Store showing the steps for the reference.

• Once installed enter that access code which you have noted and enjoy remoting.

Note: You should sign in with the same e-mail address on both (i.e. Personal Computer and your Android Phone)
